Who is the best bank to open a savers account with?

Also is there any kind of contract I can sign that will restrict me from taking out money from the savers account until I reach a certain age?

Reply:On one of the saving accounts Britannia Building Society has, there is a clause that resticts you making anywithdrawls within the 1st year.
Reply:bonds
Reply:Northern Rock for high interests and security.
Reply:There are many banks that offer good rates for direct banking (ING, Capital One, etc). You should compare rates for several of these before you commit. If you want to lock the money away, consider IRAs. Usually you cannot take money out until you 59 1/2 years old.
Reply:HSBC have really good saving account they have a account where you can put 拢250 a month in and the intrest rate is 8% if it is that much you looking to save or if it is more they have a online saver for up to 拢50k and that is something like 6% so they are quite good give them a ring
