When an account is suspended, how long does the suspension last?

The word suspension by definition implies a temporary measure, but what they do here is exclude you from the service. I may be playing with semantics here, but who else agrees?
When an account is suspended, how long does the suspension last?
Suspensions on Yahoo Answers last forever, unless you appeal it, the staff looks it over, and then reinstate your account - which has about a 0% chance of happening.

I think it should be "terminated" rather than "suspended". It doesn't make much sense....
Reply:When a yahoo account is suspended pending an appeal or a expiry of the time allowed to appeal then it becomes permanent if the appeal is denied.

Suspensions are permanent. Gone forever. Unless you appeal against the suspension and it is successful.

If you think it was unjustified you can use this appeal form.

When appealing be polite, to the point, and as brief as possible.

I wish you luck.

Reply:I hate to have to say this, but if you are suspended,

Silver Nemesis, that is it - forever !

The suspended one will have to make another account

for him/her self and start again.
Reply:All Y!A account suspensions are permanent. That means once Customer Care suspends your account, you'll never get it back again-ever. This is how the word suspension is defined here.
Reply:yeah. stupid yahoo! who the fcuk is the coordinator here? like duhh..

It will be forever! they won't take it back to you UNLESS if you appeal to yahoo and give a good reason why they should not suspend you :]
Reply:obviously, you've made another account. mine is still suspended, and it's been months.
Reply:it's forever... they say they just suspend it but they never let you back into that account.
Reply:i agree
