Erase all avatar information, and blank out your avatar to the grey silhouette.
Delete or change all your info. Close any connections to your 360, and E-mail.
Check that your questions and/or answers are private. Delete your open questions and answers.
Make sure you do not have public connections, no IM or mail open.
Delete any contacts and fans. To delete fans: block, then remove block.
Then just leave it.
First, make very sure that is what you want to do, if you delete the account you can never get it back, or use that ID name, either.
Any other yahoo programs associated with your mail account will also be deleted.

In order to get to my account, I have to click on the bookmark in my browser. The browser then fills in the user-name and password boxes on the page, but I still have to click the log-in button. I then have to click on two more links in order to reach my account page.
I'm wondering if there is any way that my browser could do all that navigating and logging in with me only having to click one button.
I use Internet Explorer, Opera, and Firefox, so the solution can work with any of those or a stand-alone program.

AMEX has been notorious of removing 'history' if you cancel out the credit card. THIS ISNT ILLEGAL, but it will drastrically affect your credit score.

AMEX has been notorious of removing 'history' if you cancel out the credit card. THIS ISNT ILLEGAL, but it will drastrically affect your credit score.

I'm trying to close out my credit card account! The rep gave me the balance of my account %26amp; I send the payment in before the due date! Low %26amp; behold I got a statement that I still owe 27.50 which was interest added to my note (they called it rolling interest). If I pay that amount will that close the account?

When you close your Yahoo account does the Y!A profile remain? I know the questions and answers do but if you click on the nickname would you go nowhere or to the old profile? Do points remain and would the person remain in the leaderboard or top answerers?

The word suspension by definition implies a temporary measure, but what they do here is exclude you from the service. I may be playing with semantics here, but who else agrees?

Suspensions on Yahoo Answers last forever, unless you appeal it, the staff looks it over, and then reinstate your account - which has about a 0% chance of happening.
I think it should be "terminated" rather than "suspended". It doesn't make much sense....

Suspensions are permanent. Gone forever. Unless you appeal against the suspension and it is successful.

When an account is suspended, how long does the suspension last?
Suspensions on Yahoo Answers last forever, unless you appeal it, the staff looks it over, and then reinstate your account - which has about a 0% chance of happening.
I think it should be "terminated" rather than "suspended". It doesn't make much sense....

Suspensions are permanent. Gone forever. Unless you appeal against the suspension and it is successful.

How do I add my laptop onto my comcast account?
I already have comcast internet and I want to hook my laptop up to it, I don't want to get wireless, I literally just want to be able to unplug my PC and hook my laptop up to the modem every so often (I barely use my laptop, but do need it to go online occasionally) I keep getting a message that I need to add the IP address, is it possible to add another IP or do they make you pay for each additional computer you have listed on the account?

No, they'll need a court judgement. They may try to contact your employer, which is illegal.
Reply:They have to have a court order to garnish wages. If they get it, yes, they can tap it. If the card was in just your name and the account is joint, they can take it for debt you owe even if it is primarily your wife's account. And be careful...if you have a "courtesy overdraft", they may be able to garnish up to that. Meaning they can overdraw your account to take that money.

To be honest, if it's got so bad they've sold the debt then they'll also have cancelled your cards and frozen your account so you wouldn't be able to make withdrawals/pay direct debits etc anyway. I suggest you call them to try to come to an agreement but it may be too late now it's been sold on.

I sent in a mail in rebate will the just deduct the money from my paypal credit account?
I bought some ram for 50$ and sent in my 30$ mail in rebate. Will they just automaticaly send the money to my credit card? Or will I get a check?

I suspect someone stole them and was going to try to use them at wal-mart.(from what I hear) I was just wondering...when they run the checks through the little machine isnt it checking to see if the account is valid and if funds are available, or is it just checking for bad check history?

It's running the checking account numbers to find out if you have a history of writing bad checks. If you don't, then a check presented against your account will be cashed or used for purchases.
If your checks have in fact been stolen (even though your account is closed), I would recommend reporting the theft to your bank.
It is possible to get into trouble (financial %26amp; legal) for writing checks against a closed account too. You're protecting yourself by reporting it to the bank. Fortunately, the user of your checks will be presenting phoney ID (unless they stole your drivers license), so it should come back on them.
Wal-Mart also has cameras and video to catch such perpetrators, so they'll also have a record of the date %26amp; time the check was run through the system and they'll be able to see an image of who cashed the check as well.

ACH stands for "Automated Clearing House" which means... basically... the check is cleared right then and there. Using a check at Wal-Mart is nearly the same thing as using cash or a debit... it's taken immediately. If the account is closed... then it will come back as "closed account."
In fact Wal-Mart hands the check right back to the person after they write it.
However... some places who run their checks through a machine may just be checking a check systems verification company like Certigy to see if the person has written bad checks in the past or is suspected of fraud/identity theft or something of that nature.
I would contact your financial institution immediately about the stolen checks even if the account has been closed.
