What is the highest dividend for a CD/Savings Account that you know of?

5.3% is the highest that I know of. I heard a rumor from a guy claiming he got 10% but all he would say is it was a bank in Alabama.

Reply:You can find out by going to bankrate.com. They update their data base every day and you can see what the highest rates are, what bank or institution is offering them, and you can further research which are the best for your area if you don't want to deal with anyone out of state. Try it.
Reply:that's the highest CD I've heard of now. If you want to make a little more, try demandnotes.com--it's at 6%, however you have to either be a GM employee or own stock in them (1 share will do). It's not insured but hey, it's GMAC and everyone knows how good that part of GM is doing. Just another option.
