I belong to a credit monitoring service and today I received an alert stating that on my mortgage account it reads "changed accounts". What does this mean? I have not received any notice on this. Any ideas out there?
What does "changed account" mean on a credit report?
Generally it means that your account was sold to another lender or the financial institute that financed you changed hands.
