How do u put a picture on ur Yahoo answers account?

I try to find it but i cant... Any directions to get there? Please?
How do u put a picture on ur Yahoo answers account?
Your avatar can be a cartoon figure or a photo. Some sites use the cartoon and some use the photo. Some, such as Yahoo Answers , give you a choice. If you do not have an avatar then a square smiley face appears.





№ 1. If you want to create a cartoon avatar then go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and create or modify one and then go to № 3.





№ 2. If you want to create a photo avatar. Go to your profile at http://profiles.yahoo.com and upload an image there. Click on "Change Photo" and upload one or more. Select the one you want to use.





№ 3. Now for either a cartoon figure or a photo save everything and go back to Yahoo Answers. Click on your old avatar in Yahoo Answers which brings you to your profile. Now go to "Edit My Info". You can pick the cartoon or photo to use. BE SURE TO PREVIEW AND SAVE (OK) THE PAGE AT THE BOTTOM. Shortcut: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit

Reply:Yahoo! Uses the picture uploaded in Yahoo! Profiles as a Yahoo! Answers Custom Avatar.


Previously, the Yahoo! 360 Pictures were used, but the transition to Yahoo! Profiles has caused the custom avatars from Yahoo! Profile being used in the Yahoo! Answers and other Yahoo! Sites.


You need to open up/create a Yahoo! Profiles account first, before you can use a custom picture.


To create a Yahoo! Profiles Account, click on this link to get started.

Then follow the instructions given in this Image to upload your picture.

OR do these:


❶ Fill out the Form to get started on the first page by Filling out your Name, Display Name, Gender, Age and Current Location.


❷ Then click on the “Change Photo” Hyperlink in the page, below your avatar.


❸ In the small window that pops up, click on “Add Photo”


❹ Click on “Browse” button to Browse to the picture you want to upload from your Computer.


Click on “Upload” button to upload the picture.


NOTE: Make sure the format of the picture is either in JPEG or PNG format, and the picture is less than 5 Megabytes.





❺ Crop the picture by dragging the corners, and then click on the “Crop” button to crop the image.


❻ Then in the next pop up window, click on the small thumbnail of picture you have uploaded, and click on “Use Selected Picture” button.





Then go to your Profile on Yahoo! Answers, and click on “Edit My Info” to edit your profile’s settings, OR click on this link to go there directly

➀ Under the Profile Picture options in your Profile editing page, click on “Use my Profile image”


➁ Scroll to the Bottom of the page and click on “Preview” button.


➂ Scroll to the bottom of the next page and click on the “OK” button.


You’re done. You’ll be using your Yahoo! Profiles picture from now on, and if you feel the need to change your picture again, go back to your Yahoo! Profile page and upload a new picture and save it.

1. Go to your profile.





2. Click on the button near the top that says EDIT INFO.





3. You should see three boxes. All the way to the right, there should be a box that says "Use my Yahoo! Avatar", and then right beneath a button that says "Edit My Yahoo! Avatar".





4. Click it.





5. It will take you to the link.





OR...





Just type in avatars.yahoo.com in the search bar at the top of your webpage. Make sure you're logged on. =)





CUSTOM AVATAR:





You have to activate your 360 profile. To do that, go to your Yahoo! Answers profile, and then click on “Edit My Info”. If you haven’t created your avatar, at the top of the page, under “Nickname” is a line that says “Use my 360 nickname”. If you have not created your 360 profile, there will be a link next to it that says something like “Get my 360 profile now!” Click on it. Another option is to click on “View my profile” on your Yahoo! Answers profile, and then go to your 360 via that.





Once you set up the profile, you will be taken to a page that should be displaying your avatar, unless you haven’t made one. Click on “Change my picture” at the bottom of the picture display. You will see a pop-up line that has two options: “Add Photo” and “Customize Avatar”. To upload a photo, click on “Add Photo”. To use a photo as your primary, select the one you want: the Yahoo! Avatar, no picture or the uploaded picture. Then click on “Use Selected Photo”.





NOTE: The picture you upload MUST be under 5MB, and it MUST be in the JPG or JPEG format.





To get it to show up…





1. Go to your profile





2. Click "Edit My Info"





3. You will be taken to a page where you will see three boxes. One says "No Picture" underneath the box, one says "Use My 360 Picture" underneath the box, and one says "Use My Avatar" underneath the box. Check the circle next to the one that says "Use My Avatar" or next to the one that says "Use My 360 Picture". Whichever one you want.





4. Scroll down.





5. Click "Preview"





6. Click "OK"





7. You're done.
