Is closing an account at a bank instantaneous or do they have process it for a couple of days?
If you are very wealthy it may take a little bit, but generally it is instantaneous.
Reply:the collected balance will be available immediately and the remainder after it becomes collected. UNLESS the bank has reason to suspect that one or more of your recent deposits may come back in the future for reasons like "forged item" or "forged signature" -- those can take months.
